Domaine Bruno Clair: Bourgogne Aligoté

This Aligoté, planted over an area of 24 acres and 59 centiares, thrives on clay limestone soil, benefiting from a south-eastern exposure at an average altitude of 270 meters. First planted in 1987, these vines are meticulously cared for to produce a distinctive wine.

The vinification process involves fermenting the grapes in stainless steel vats for approximately 15 days, capturing the essence of the Aligoté grape. Following fermentation, the wine matures for 18 months in oak barrels, enhancing its complexity and depth.

Upon tasting, the wine reveals a pale gold robe, an inviting visual prelude to its elegant profile. It exudes fresh aromas of apple and lemon, indicative of its vibrant fruit characteristics. On the palate, it strikes a harmonious balance with a delightful freshness, making it both refreshing and refined.
